A month or more ago, somebody was planning to part out
a coach. I put my name in the hat for at least one air
bag and the owner said he had me down on his/her list.
I have now forgotten who it was (CRS) and would sure
appreciate it if that person would contact me again!
My left side bag has a slow leak and I would hate to
have it give up totally on me. The right side seems to
hold just fine.

Hello,
After reading this i wondered, can you get airbags repaired using rubber plugs??.
Maybe it depends where the leak is ??
Of course you can with vehicle tires, they can last many years repaired.
Perhaps someone has experience on this ??

Plugs don't work in sidewalls; bags are more like sidewalls than treads.
Don't dare put Slime in them either -- hard on the valves controlling the
system, and it WILL get to them.
Most bag leaks don't seem to be from single holes anyway but from more
diffuse permeability.
Get Sully's new bags.

Hello Ken,
Yep i thought there might be a problem fixing airbags.
I knew someoene would know the answer.
I have 2 spare brand new bags, They are still in boxes....
With a bit of luck will not need to look for a new airbag system in the near future. I sprayed them with a protectant, that does not affect rubber. Hoping it will stop low level ozone from attacking them ....
cheers and beers

If you have two brand new bags I would install those and save the others as
spares or one as spare and the other as a good guy loaner. I would rather
re bag at a time and place of my chosing rather than let the bag decide.
