The nutsert is #6-32 thread and the Auveco part # is 13012. You should be able to order from any nut/bolt specialty store. Might be easier to get from an autobody supply store. There is no special tool required to install. It works just like a sheet rock hollow wall anchor or "molly screw". The rubber well nuts will work but if the hole is irregular or over sized from the original insert spinning than getting them to grab and seal can be a chore and the threads can still leak water. The original style fastener will grab well even in different sized holes. Aluminum or steel threaded nut inserts which are riveted in with a special tool can be tricky and is not terribly stable in the smc. A stuck bolt can spin the insert when removal is attempted and once that happens removal of the part can get challenging. The front bodyside aluminum strips used an aluminum threaded insert and I spun several of them when taking the moldings off for painting.

Hello,

i am having a big problem trying to get the correct Rivet nuts with the correct dimentions for the marker lights on the roof.

Please if anyone has some spare for this application i would gladly buy them from you. Enough for all the lights.

I did buy 100 with the correct screw thread size but they are too loose in the holes.

cheers and beers
