We gather down 95 at 99 mm in January. Some gather just south of Rice Ranch, in January.
Take pictures.

What Dan meant to say was take some pictures, then please POST some
pictures. Would really like to see what it looks like down there right
now. Still trying to see if I can make it down there this year. I need
to be in Death Valley over the President's Day weekend, but before
that, I'm free. We shall see...

Just had a nice rain, somewhat cool. See double rainbow in pic. Low census at this time.
How do I post the pics?

I wish I was there.

I couldn't make it last year and with Dan not being there I'll not make it this year.

Next year (Jan 2013) maybe I'll make it again if I get a promise of no snow in northern Arizona and no floods in Southern Ariz.

Yea, what my good friend Gary said. Post them so we can see what the place looks like in December. I want to spend an entire winter out there soon. I'd like to see just what things look like now.

I posted the link above. Now, get us more. Grab some of main street when you go to town tomorrow.

Ken, let's start planning for next year. I think you should drive the coach out for at least a month. Teri and I really missed you last January. I will have better wifi now that I have the Pepwave.

In 30 days, that spot will be full of rvs. Life is always good in Quartzsite. My favorite place in January.

I would love to. I doubt Laurie will go. She is about 15% through a 2 year course and will not be finished by then.

It might just be me and Clyde doggie if he is still with us. Purdue called today and are still stumped with him. Two different doctors are suppose to call tomorrow morning with a plan of what to do next.

If it is him and I, I might bring the coach. If I'm alone, it does not make much sense to drive it all that way in the coach.

Hey Bill;

The pictures are GREAT. Hope to see more. Not use to seeing an
almost empty desert. If this is your first time, you are going to be
amazed at what will be there in a month...

Ok Ken. Driving a GMC that far needs to be a 30-60 day trip to make it worth the price of fuel. Once there, no expense but food and we will feed you and Clyde. I think it is 1800 miles from here to Quartzsite, or close to it. I have been stretching our time there every year. Fisrt year was hard to hold Teri there for 10 days. I am thinking minimum of 6 weeks for our 4th visit next winter.

the 26th, then Jim Decheine is hosting a GMCSJS rally in Ajo, az starting
the 23rd of Feb. Full slate of stuff to do.

Quartzite.. Hmmm didn't it make the news lately where the Mayor declared Marshall Law?

Lots of Google hits, but no time to read it.

I'll be there 1/19 - 1/22, bringing the GMC for the first time, so really looking forward to it this year (previous quartzsite trips were in my Rialta and Sprinter). I'll be with another group, but I will segway over to the GMC camp during the weekend to say hi.

Pete.

Rialta, Sprinter, GMC -- can't make up the mind, huh?

I don't have that many toys to choose from.

Neither do I. Rialta was 2005 - 2008, Sprinter was 2008 - 2010, GMC 2010 +. I always wanted a GMC, but had the other coaches until I found "the right one". Amazingly, I broke even buying/selling the other 2 coaches!

A group of GMC Classics plans to come out around January 23--a little
before or a little after. Looking forward to seeing some other Gmcers.
