G'day,

This eBay listing 220911878256 is for a Q-jet made by Edelbrock.

I thought the Q-jet carb was made by Rochester.

Is this for real or BS?

Regards,
Rob M.

Rob
Apparently, they bought the rights to make them, but they have the
fuel inlet from the side.

IIRC it was a licensing aggreement. I believe the fuel inlet location varied on the Rochester units as well depending on the division application.

Real.

My PO installed an Edelbrock Q-Jet on my 1978 403. (Different model -- the eBay one is #1904 and I THINK mine is a #1903.) It seems to work "fine" but I suspect I could get a mpg or so better if I had the correct carb rebuilt and installed it.
