G'day,

I stumbled on to this on the Heartland website:

http://tinyurl.com/cdn8t9z

http://www.heartlandamerica.com/browse/item.asp?product=18v-cordless-dual-head-drill
<http://www.heartlandamerica.com/browse/item.asp?product=18v-cordless-dual-head-drill&PIN=102449&GUID=8D10EAB4-8275-4C8E-A174-F17007
32FAC5&BC=5000&DL=CSP13> &PIN=102449&GUID=8D10EAB4-8275-4C8E-A174-F1700732FAC5&BC=5000&DL=CSP13

I've never seen a drill like this before. I'm not saying I'd buy it, however, but it sure is unique!

Regards,

Rob M.

Now, that's my kind of drill/driver. I have carrying two around the house when doing the "honey hang this" routine. You and I must be lazy but at least you'd always have a drill in the chuck as well as a screwdriver. Next problem is, which driver?

I just use my little 1/4" DeWalt impact wrench for everything. With its
quick release for 1/4" hex tools, it's only necessary to carry a few hex
base drills & driver bits.

IIRC, somewhere in the DeWalt instructions it says don't use it as a drill.
Hogwash! Never had a problem -- with tiny or large spade bits, it just
zips right through. When breaking through steel, it may rap a time or two,
but I've never had it bind nor break a bit.
