Hey, He doesn't have anything on us.

Bolt a Volkswagon bug on the roof, connect the steering.

Run a pole from the roof to the brake pedal and another to the gas.

Starter up, climb up and hold on.... lololol

Oooooh, I did love my '72 Vistacruiser. It had a 455 that ran for over 400,000 miles. It was only opened up once when I changed the timing chain and oil pump. With a new timing chain she started up before I could release the key. What a sweet engine that was.

The chassis rotted out long before the mechanicals quit.

Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have a mom that had a Vista Cruiser that we used to haul our amps, etc. around for my band, and a dad that had a Mustang convertible to drive on my dates.

Those really were neat autos, and I remember the Oldsmobile whenever I fire up the GMC.

I watched a few YouTube videos about this fascinating project and he
mentions using electronic shifting to avoid "problems". I would imagine
if I was driving from the roof, any "problem" would put me in the
nuthouse. He also mentions going under low
overpasses....................at speed.

Maybe this will do. I don't think it has a functional flying bridge, but what the hey.
