It does suck to have to pull the car off so you can turn around! I would think a fixed deck dolly would work fine. A little scrubbing of the tires in tight turns better than body damage

I have never been successful in backing up any kind of a tow dolly--at least with a vehicle on it. To me, it's one of the biggest downsides of a tow dolly esp if you don't plan ahead.

I have a Master Tow "Deluxe Tilt Bed Tow Dolly" model 80 T. According to
the owners manual it has a GVWR of 3,500 lbs. Towed vehicle tread width
from 40" to 80". Maximum width at towed vehicle door is 78".
Mine does not have brakes, but both electric and surge drum brakes are
available or surge stainless steel disc are available as options..
NOTE:
Item three in the owners manual "Do's and Don'ts" states - *"NEVER ATTEMPT
TO BACK UP A LOADED TOW DOLLY THIS CAN OVER S**TRESS THE TOW DOLLY BENDING
THE TONGUE AND OR CARRYING PAN".*
Master Tow is located in Fayetteville, NC.
Web address:
www.mastertow.com <http://www.master.com>
Email:
mastertow@mastertow.com
I purchased mine from Perone Performance Products in Laurel, MD.
Other then a very satisfied customer I have no affiliation with either PPP
or Master Tow.
Good Luck,
