Skip, the standoff dimensions for angle and length are unchanged. I agree with you about the simplicity of the concept. The only difficult part is centering the angled standoff brackets on the plates and controlling distortion of the plates while welding.

Looking at the photos of your plates did you go a little taller on the plates than the original mark demensions of 1 3/4 on one end and 1 1/2 on the other and 6 long which makes approx a 10 degree angle on the mount plate. The ideal is so simple for this replacement makes you wonder where is the downfall.
