I am replacing my OEM stove with a convection/microwave and a 2 0r 3 burner cooktop.

My old unit works fine and is available free if any one wants it.

Any recomendations for the cooktop.

Is any one using the Appolo Half Time oven available online from WalMart for $169?

Gene,
We had a half time in the coach. We dry camp a lot and the thing just drew too much power from our batteries. Teri wanted it in the house. So, I bought a small, 700 watt, microwave for the GMC and Teri has the half time in the house. She is very happy so I am very happy. We needed nothing more than a small microwave in the coach anyway. I went over board and got her the halftime a couple of years back.
One reason that life is good.

No I replaced it with a good old fashion microwave. rarely us e an
oven I grill 99% of the time so I got a really nice portable BBQ. Put
a little microwave where the stove was and put in a 3 burner suburban
cook top, I have used suburban a number of times and they work great.
And they do no cost a fortune. Looks really nice as well.

Good luck

Oh yeah make sure when you buy a cook top that you buy the type you
don't need a lot of space between the bottom of the cook top and
whatever is underneath it. Room is precious in these things.

We have had the Half Time oven for about a year now. First one failed. Sent it in for repair and the repair also failed. They sent a new one and it has been working great. I will say that you cannot beat the customer service. The local Wal-Mart will not handle any complaints about mail order items but Apollo were very responsive. They paid for the shipping for it to be repaired the first time. When I called about the problem with the repaired unit, they apologized for the problems we were having and offered to give our money back or send a new unit. Said we could do whatever we wanted with the old one. You are welcome to it. The convection works but the microwave only gets things luke warm.

The new unit is working just great. The only complaint I have is that is was larger than I had thought from just going by the dimensions. Here it is installed: <http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=39613&title=kitchen-upgrades&cat=5807>
or

The sink will soon match the cook-top.
