Hi All
Unfortunatly I made a dumb move and broke my oil filter housing on my unit. Any one have one that I can buy?

I've found a Couple of pictures on the web that pretty well describe what part I'm looking for. I will take a picture of mine and post it later tonight. In the illustration I need the top part that bolts directly to the block. If it helps. I have a 1974 455 block. I have also linked to an other picture from someone else to help identify what I need.

Iodide place the request in the Swap meet

John;
Make sure you get the correct filter housing, there are differences between the 455 that you have and the 403. Also the gaskets are different. This link will show you the differences.

You're looking for the Oil Filter Base or the Adaptor?

I have a spare adaptor, I don't have the base.

It looks like the accepted name for the part I need is the oil filter base that bolts directly to the 455 block As per Bob's updated link. Dolph: I cheered when you said you had one, only to get depressed when you said you only have the cooler adaptor

Thanks for responding!!

I still need a filter adaptor if anyone has one!!
Best regards
