Hi All

A moment of inattention caused me to break my oil filter housing on a 455. Anyone have one they can sell me?

John,

I do not have a part for you... But,
Unfortunately, the parts manual has three numbers and no pictures. This is bothersome as there may be several that are not identical.
Does your broken part have a number on it??
If you can find one, it may help to match the part. I have to believe that there are a few available.

Good Luck Guy,

Matt

I've found a Couple of pictures on the web that pretty well describe what part I'm looking for. I will take a picture of mine and post it later tonight. In the illustration I need the top part that bolts directly to the block. If it helps. I have a 1974 455 block. I have also linked to an other picture from someone else to help identify what I need.

John,

I'm told (don't know for a fact) that forum posting to "Swap" do not go out as e-mail. In that case, posting a note to the main forum that says something like "Looking for an oil filter adapter" and direct readers to look in swap for more information.

Again Good Luck

Matt

Did you try Google-ing "Oil filter Cooler adaptor"? I found this and many others.
