Greetings all,
I've been asked by a fellow in Springfiled IL. to post a 1970's Caddy 500ci motor that he has to the group. He bought the motor for a GMC swap (the owner previously owned a '76) that was never completed. He sold the GMC some time ago and does not need the engine. He is asking $350 for the motor, which supposedly was taken from a car with low miles. His name is Art. His phone number is: 217-787-1558. I spent some time on the phone with him this evening and he seems to be a pretty decent sort. He simply is getting old and would like to start thinning down the stuff stored in the garage.
Good luck,
Lyle

Thats not a bad price,,,,,,but not a great one either. What would make it a really good price would be if its an Eldo and not RWD. Also need for a good price would be the front motor mount and the right side drive shaft bracket/bearing. I,m trying to remember if the drive shaft (rt.) is the same or eldo specific. Eldo pan is needed if its RWD. Also the left side ex. manifold, not cracked would sweeten the deal,,,,BUT. 70 Eldo,s require premium fuel. 10.5 to 1 comp. ratio. If my memory is correct!!!!,,,,,PL
