We made it to Ft. McDowell without a hitch. It was only about a 125 mile trip from Tucson. The coach performed flawlessly. We are staying at the "Eagle View RV Resort" along the Verde River, NW of Phoenix. The first thing we saw when we got out of the coach was, you guessed it, an American Bald Eagle soaring overhead.
As I suspected, the sway bars, connected to the torque boxes of the reaction arm kit, acted in much the same manner as the 'True Track' system. The rear end of the coach was noticeably more stable than before. The rear end was not steering the front end at all. I don't know if anyone else with the reaction arm system has noticed this, but it certainly seems to be true. Plus, it is really nice to have complete confidence in the brakes. I didn't have to make any panic stops, but if I had, I KNOW I would have been able to stop.
The new three-way Norcold works very well. I turned it on Wednesday evening, and by Thursday morning, the refrigerator box was at about 34 degrees and water bottles and ice trays in the freezer were frozen. It is automatic with the priorities being #1 - 115v AC, #2 - LP gas, and #3 - 12v DC. It ran on 12v DC all the way up here without any problems, even though I did not replace the 12g wires feeding it with 10g. I DID change the fuse from a 15 amp to a 25 amp. No problem.
The coach did not exhibit any signs of vapor lock, unlike the trip we took to Flagstaff in July. It ran like a clock the whole way.
I guess you can tell I'm pretty happy with it!
