Today I bagan prepping some used aluminum cones to replace the plastic ones on my 73. One cone had an obvious and somewhat rough casting margin just inside the opening of the cone.
Has anyone seen this before -- how concerned would you be about it?

I thought perhaps just smoothing it down would be sufficient.
