Poly Armour is the only thing carried by our local auto parts places (autozone, etc). You might try checking any local chain store for a 25' roll of brake line.
Chances are good they'll be selling you PolyArmour. They don't even realize it's anything different. It's really cheap too.

Called the local Auto zone this am and picked up a roll of 5/16 Poly-armour and am just about finished(good thing it comes in 25' roll cause I was not happy with my first line.) The second and third came out puss. Glad I did it. When I removed the old line I found a splice of somewhat rotted rubber line a few inches from the trans which I couldn't see cause it was hiding behind the header. The Poly-armour was very easy to bend and flare with cheapo bender and flare tool.
Thanks again for all of your responses. Funny how a guy in Australia can tell me that what I need is sitting in an auto parts store 1/2 mile away from me in Seattle

At $25 for the whole roll the "learning curve" is pretty cheap! ;-)
The Internet is a great tool for helping people.
The thing I learned from this exercise was not to trust the auto parts search engines it they don't return a "hit" the first time;
try a different approach.
