Took Diana, the dogs, the stretch, and the Scion to a campground
next to a river on the outflow of Clear Lake here in Washington. Had a
great time for 4 days being parked next to a river that was chock full
of spawning salmon ("No Fishing" signs posted). Except for the deer,
we had the campground to ourselves. Yesterday morning (Monday) I
started the engine on the stretch and it started right up. I let it
warm up while we finished getting it ready for departure. I went to
back out of the site, and it died. Started it back up, put it into
reverse and it died again. After this time it wouldn't start. The carb
had lots of gas so checked for spark. Didn't have any. Decided to
change the ignition module and coil. After putting all back together,
it started right up. Seems to run better also, but that could just be
wishful thinking. Anyway, glad everyone here says to carry some spares
as they really came in handy.

Gary...diddo. Judi and I took "the 26" from Kelowna south to osoyoos, then east through the kootenays and over "all" of the three passes to Alberta and beyond.
About 1 klm. from the top of the Blueberry/Polson, she just quit!!! Changed the moduel and the carb fuel filter and she ran just fine for the rest of our two thousand mile round trip.
Thanks to all for the heads up on the important spares to have on hand.

Dan\Judi in the 26...Also the Texas 29.5
