There is a 78 Toronado transmission in Rochester, Indiana that is currently listed on eBay ending Sunday morning.

Matt, if you want it picked up and held temporarily, I can go get it and move it to Valparaiso, Ind. in my Pick Up. You can figure out how to move it to where you want from Valparaiso. It is probably 75 miles or so one way for me to go get it.

I just wanted to be sure that if someone in the group did need and/or want one, he could get to it.

If Manny has them in stock,there is no reason to look any further. I was just worried that they were getting scarce and were needed for rebuildable cores.

George,

Yes and no.

IIRC Bill Bramlet and Ken Henderson videoed an overhaul of a TH-425 and when it is edited it will be published.

If one has a spare transmission and the mechanical skill level one could overhaul the transmission themselves.

I realize it wouldn't have the mods that Manny includes but I'd bet dollars to donuts he'd advise what needed to be done and provide
the special parts.
