Another Air Filter for the Onan 6kw [message #145905]

Could not find any of the air filters listed in the GMCMI cross reference so took my removal ( looks like Fram orange but had no number on it - pretty old and dirty/rusty ) to the NAPA store and started matching for size. Found the NAPA Gold 6449 is a great fit - just had to poke a hole through the bottom rubber membrane and add a fender washer for support. Top convolution fits right into the manifold bell. Cost was about $26.

I guess that one should be added to thg GMCMHI parts interchange list if it is not there. Good find.
