Last night I discovered my GMC had been broken into. I keep it at a fenced mini-storage. Called police and spent the evening filing a report.

This morning when I called the lot they checked and found five other rv's had been broken into. One owner lost a flat screen tv, dvd and receiver. They stole a Coleman camping generator from mine. Thankfully, they ignored my Ragusa screen door (still in the box).

My coach is an early 73 with the replacement stainless plate on the door. I don't know if this makes it easier to force open.
The outside door skin has pulled away from the inside -- could this be bonded with body adhesive?

Anyway -- adds one more thing to the list to-do.
I will no longer trust the lock to protect anything of real value.

This evening I used a large rubber mallet on the door and managed to get it straight enough to close ok and even lock. Hope it unlocks tomorrow!
Something for others to consider if you leave valuables in your coach and it is vulnerable.
