I am interested in getting a quote to get a 23' from Southern CA to Northern
CA. Does anyone know of a tow company with a low boy trailer that they would
be willing to recommend?

Thank you,

Guy in Sacramento

Looking for a 23'

Guy,

I used Tyler Trucking out of Sacramento. Excellent. He trucked my '26 from Oakhurst to Manny's in San Jose. 170 miles. $600.

The guy knows GMCs. He loaded me quickly and was gentle with the coach. Unloading was the same. He is a real pro. Honest, nice guy.

Write to me a gbeckman at pggp dot com and I will send his phone.

Here is a picture of his rig and my coach. The trailer disconnects just after the curved part at the 5th wheel. We backed it on the trailer as it was sitting right on the ground. Slick operation:

Could you give us an idea what we might expect to pay
per mile or per trip?

What have others paid in the past?

Guy,

It looks like you have a good answer. Local dude, too. Make sure he really
doesn't live in Carmichael or Rancho Cordova. You can't trust those
easterners acting like they're from Sac.

Richard,

In January of 2009 I listed the parts Avion I bought off eBay on UShip and it cost me $600 to have it trucked from Baltimore, MD to
Knoxville, TN. That's 519 miles or $1.16 a mile.

Regards,
Rob M.
