Unfortunately we could only be there for Day1 and 2. Rally at Emerald Desert RV resort in Palm Desert. About 48 coaches. Very nice park, huge pool and clubhouse, lots of meeting rooms. Dave and Donna DeGraffenreid and Pat at Sharon Cerrina are doing a fabulous job. Food at the dinners on the weekend was awesome with enough that several folks took boxes back for lunch the next day. The theme of the rally is "Survivor" with 4 teams. Teams vy for points by participating in challenges. For instance tonight JimK is going to don a grass skirt and Hula dance for the Giraffe team to get extra points. A series of 25 "idols" are planted within the part. Finding an idol gets your team points. Idol theft has been noted in the past from team to team. The tech sessions I attended were very good. Several vendors.
Weather was a bit on the hot side, in the upper 90's during the day but cools down at night. Rally continues until Thursday with lots of hijinks and fun on the schedule.
Be on the lookout for Armand Minnie;s photo postings. He's been doing a great job in documenting all the goin's on. Joanne got a big happy birthday song on Sunday night at dinner. Thank you Dave for that, She really appreciated it.
