We have done two GMCs with snap together laminate flooring. In the first we used Wilson Art squares that look like tile. It was installed in a center kitchen Royal and was only installed in doorway aft past kitchen and bath to back bed with short nap industrial carpet forward of door and in cockpit area. We did this for noise control and warmth in main living area. This configuration has been outstanding.

On the second coach we installed a snap together floor from cockpit aft with a cork surface. I think the cork is the best choice, it cuts sound, it is warm, and it is soft, if you drop a glass it only bounces.

Both floors are floating floors with a 1/4" underlayment and a thin pad. I installed the underlayment as an attempt to protect flooring from water leak. These floors do not stand up well to water and my thought is that the underlayment will keep it up out of water if there is a leak. I even sealed the underlayment with epoxy.

The cork flooring is sealed with several coats of polyurethane floor finish.

Both floors are great and I highly recommend them.
