There are pictures of a stunning remodel on the picture site - we just looked at them again a few weeks ago talking about countertops. They used cork and it looked great. I have installed cork throughout our house, it's a click-together system. We like it for its ease of maintenance and its good looks.

There are 12 x 12 cork tiles that have a heavy vinyl base that would work
very well. The other cork flooring on pressboard I would stay away.
Moisture and press board don't mix well at all.

We modeled our interior after the coach refered to...turned out fantastic if I may say so myself. I installed cork laminate 3 years ago and it shows as if it was installed yesterday.
Cork is quiet, warm and easy to wash and of corse sweep out.
Recommend very highly.

...the cork laminate flooring store recomended a sealer coat on top to handel any water spillage, although I suggest that there would have to be a catastroph watter leak/spill to affect the floor anyway. Ask the retailer...they do this kind of stuff every day.

I have a friend who installed it in his 36' SOB and it looks great. Very
low maintenance, doesn't show stains easily and is easy to keep up. It has
the added benefit of cushioning so dropped glass items seldom break.

Thanks to Rob Mueller I saw this. I havn't been on the GMCnet in far too long...

This is our coach, and we LOVE the cork flooring. THe flooring we used is laminated to some form of press board. I soaked a sample in a tub of water for three days before we purchased and it didn't soak up any water. I'm not sure what they used as an adhesive for the pressboard, but that really impressed me. I mirror what others have said about the flooring. It always looks good (hides dirt,) fells good under foot, cushions stuff falling, and based upon our expererience is holding up rather well.

Now to figure out how to mint more time to use the coach more often.

Regards,
Rick
