We are about 90% moved into the new place. Nice new home for the GMC. All though the old place was good. It would be tough for company. Now,,,, I,ve got enough space for ALOT of GMC's. 5 open acres. Most of its flat. Grass. Everybodys welcome. About 6 1/2 miles south of I-70 on 47 hiway. State of Misey (missouri) of course. I haven't moved the GMC yet. Theres no dash and a big oil leak. No gauges. Got to hook up the oil p. gauge or plug it. The new home is 55 by 36. And the lay of the back could let me do a "Ken Henderson" out the rear. 2 days ago I moved a several tons of tools and stuff. Lathe,brake,mill,welder(255 amp tig),spare 500. Two trannies. etc,,,, love to see ya. PL

Paul,

Sounds great! Would it be feasible to dig a pit for the GMC inside the new home?

Regards,
Rob M.

Ya,,,it kills me to not make it. Last year we had 900 pounds of tools to sell. Now I'm moving what I didn't sell. One reason the new place is going to be nice is because the GMC will be in the shop. I once lost count at 32 the number of trips I made from the MH garage to the shop for tools. But now I don't know how to paint it. The old one was 16x30 and isolated from the rest of the dirt and overspray on the tools and machinery.,,,,PL

Yes,,,I guess you could cut the floor, form up and pour, probably would be better weather wise than out the back Ken H. style. Steps would be a must,,,maybe at 90 degrees to the pit at the back. Hmmmmmm. Thats why I post here. To get ideas diffrent/some times better than mine. Would prevent another door.

Sounds like a good rally place. Something like Bean station, Just a little to the west.

Congrats on your new home...
