Netters
I hope no one considers my comments insensitive.
I had known Duane for many years and have met with him on several occasions,
and very recently had discussed a combination of Onan and personal issues
with him......
BUT ...
I have to ask, is there anyone out there who will be able to take over the
maintenance of our Onan generators and will have his ability to repair those
'pesky' circuit boards ?

Jerry is a retired electrical engineer, so perhaps he can step in where Duane left off. Does anyone know Duane's wife personally, and could perhaps obtain all of his docs for archival? I'm sure he has some good notes and schematics, etc.
My onan runs like a hose. Jerry did a good job.

No, I meant hose. As in a garden hose. It runs continuously without any interruption.

However, Duane had built his own test equipment to plug the boards into and he has developed sources for parts such as relays. If one were to do this is would be necessary to have a lot of Duane's notes and access to his testing devices.

I agree about the ONAN issues. Please let us all be respectful of the
emotional state that Billie is in right now. Take the time to give her all
the moral support and help her get through this period of grieving. Time
passing will help her cope, but her life is kinda out of whack presently. I
lost Mary on March 6, 2011 and I am just now able to think more than one or
two days ahead. Friends and familly support is critical to the recovery
process. Let's all offer her all the support we can at this time. The Onan
stuff can wait. Emery and I can help with tuning and maintence issues.

Jerry moved to SoCal from Tucson? That's hard to imagine, since he had one of those shops that was so jammed full of stuff my son said "It's like a Noahs Ark of tools. He has two of everything!"
