Has anyone tried installing one of the Magic Mesh screen doors that are
being advertised on late night TV? The two halves are held together with 18
magnets.

No connection, I just saw a commercial and thought it might be a possible
fit for the GMC. I don't presently have a GMC to check, but possibly the
curvature of the fuselage might present a challenge to mount it?

Guy,
It is possibly less expensive here:

It works quite well, but installation in a GMC is far from trivial.
- It takes velcro stuck to the trim all the way across the top and all the way down both sides. I used trim mount tape.
- Getting around the door latch is interesting.
- You need to sew the velcro on the screen fabric and while you are at it, do a double pleat in the top and a single pleat at the bottom. The double pleat at the top makes it accept the door's day/night shade nicely.
The dog likes it a lot.
It folds away to almost nothing when not in use.
