Before I purchased my 73, I lurked on this list for a long time getting more
emails from this list than I ever imagined possible, I have to admit that I
read everyone of them, most of the time not having a clue what most of you
were talking about. In Jan 2011, I purchased my sad 1973 and continued to
read as I do today every email that is sent on GMClist and as I work on
repairing and updating mine, to my surprise I remember a lot of what I read
in the past and it all starts to make some sense. The latest was when I went
to the gas station to fill up and gas started pouring out from under the
coach, my wife was in a panic and all I said was hey this happens to other
GMC all the time, I knew exactly what to look for and where, only because I
have read problems some of you have had in the past.
So thank you to all who share problems as they occur, because some of us are
maybe thousands of miles away, learning from your experiences. To any
Newbies out there keep reading, save some emails in a special GMC folder and
learn what you can, this is an outstanding group with collectively maybe of
a few hundred years experience. That's what makes owning my GMC so great and
so worthwhile. There is no way I could even put a price on the information
you give me on this list.
I am not alone
Thanks to all of you

Serge,
The other neat thing about this group is that there are more than one way to
do MOST things.
The other - which seems to work for me - is that the situations and issues
are somewhat rotating. Right now no one is complaining about not getting
enough heat inside the coach etc. The rest - tires, airbags, insurance,
brakes and on and on seem to resurrect themselves when I finally get my
"Roundtoit".
By the way, we just finished a big job in Deming, NM.
Enjoy,
