The regulars here know that I have been chasing steel 16' wheels for a while now.

Dream Cruise day, I acquired four ugly wheels that need at least a blast and prime, one even uglier with damage that I believe I can repair and one that I won't even bother, but I brought it home anyway.

After involved e-mails and phone conversations, I thought I had two more. Mary and I drove ninety miles to find out that they had the wrong hub bore. They were from a '92 C3500 dually, but the hub bore was the larger (4-3/4?) size. Bummer....

I have a perpetually running Craig's list with the wheel specs and pictures, and had asked him to to check it against that. I guess he missed something or just matched the application.

So, not all the Round Shouldered barrel wheels from C3500s are the correct fit.

There may be one down by Findley OH, but I haven't figured out how to get it without spending more for fuel than it is worth.

Back to my Craig's list search.

Matt
