mooneshine creek campground, approx 45 minutes south west of asheville, nc.
very peaceful, shaded good. 2 night stay. 39 per night full hook ups with cable.(may be a little high, but first trip, so no first hand comparisons.) Is that a little high? i thought spaces were a little small, (with awning out my spaces was only a foot or 2 outside of it. bath house was a little dated, but very clean.
creek had steady flow of water, like sleeping in heavy rain. many florida tagged cars, but the tennesse and nc people seemed more friendly.
small leak under bathroom sink which led me to turn off water when not using.
i really need to figure out my cruise control.
i kept schraders off and air valves on hold so as not to have to worry about them.
50 miles on parkway coming home, we saw 6500 feet above sea level.
coach ran great coming and going. (slight vibration i think passenger front felt at 65mph or higher. i need to put split shot on throttle cable at pedal. i will also be adding something to top of throttle pedal to assist with hitting trans switch .(i am thinking half inch long piece of heater hose as to simulate switch adjustment.
i need an entry step , overall i would rate the trip a success
