Hi all
Just got back from trip and the old monster in the back worked flawlessly. Would like to give her a good oil change and air filter replace.
Does any one have the numbers and manufacturers for the oil filter and the air filter.
Thanks as always
Marcel

Marcel,

For the air filter on a 6000 Watt go to Home Depot and get a John Deere air
filter. It is made for their larger displacement riding mowers. It fits
with very minor tweaking. I bought mine at the end of the season last year.
Marked down fro $15 to around $5.

JWID.

Keep in mind that you need to keep the seal at the oil filter opening
as air will be pulled through that point and will decrease the amount
of proper circulation.
You can refer to our site under ONAN and see.

I've never seen a clear gas line to the Onan. Or any other location in a GMC. Some clears are rated for gas. Some are not. I'd get it out if it was mine. For me. I have to see ( gas) printed on the outside of any hose that I'd install. As a gas line. It's my Comfort Zone thing.

Get rid of that clear fuel line, and replace it with Gates Barricade Hose
rated for fuel with alcohol in it. Nothing else.

With the makeup of todays gasolines you should only use a hose that is rated for this fuel as Jim has said. I only use a R14 rated fuel hose. Granted it cost more, but in the end it will out last any other hose on the market. These are all barricade Nitrile rubber hoses.

What is barricade Fuel Line hose:

You can find other brands out there, but IMHO this is the best!
