I have the back area of my Eleganza "under construction" after replacing some rotted floor boards, and noticed that there's an angle bracket that attaches to the bathroom module framing and ceiling, as shown in this picture:

Is this how GMC attached the framing to the ceiling, or is this something a PO put in? Also, the fastener that attached the angle bracket to the ceiling is missing. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use?

I ask this because the hole for the fan in my bathroom ceiling does not align with the fan. See this picture:

I can push the bathroom module towards the wall and get it to align somewhat, but I don't have a good way of keeping the module in place.
