I have a pressure tank attached to my water system and was wondering if anyone has something similar. Here's a picture of it:

I'm considering removing it, as it is not attached very well and complicates the plumbing next to the water tank (which is removed in the picture). Is there any real benefit to keeping it?

Yeah, or the same reason you put one on a well pump.  It smooths out the flow, and the pump cycles less.  If you were closer, I'd take it off your hands - but I can make one for less than I can ship one from SLC.  I'd leave it on.  You could relocate it to a degree if necessary.

I think an accumulator tank is very benifficial. I mounted mine under the sink. BE SURE to mount it on the cold water line. Strange things happen if you put it on the hot water line. Don't ask how I know.

Most definitely keep it.

It keeps the pump for cycling. If you do not like it where it is then move it to anywhere that you can run a cold water line to it.

Good modification, smooth out the water flow and the pump will not
cycle as often. Have on both of our coaches.
