Working on the new home for the GMC. (and us) Cuttin alot of grass due to sellers bad health. Don't have title yet but soon. It takes a very long time to cut 5+ acres with a 48" and a 26" snapper runnin at the same time. Found a 1210 with a 4' belly. They had 5' as an option. Any one had experance with the Ford 1200 series??? (1200,1210,1220),,,,would prefer a 6' cut but anything to large (tractor) won't be runnin while I'm at work. And I want it to run when I'm not there,,,,,thanks,,,,PL

My brother got one of those commercial mower units you see with the two handles for steering and have a zero turning radius.
Built tough and used are reasonably cheap. He wore out a normal lawn tractor in like 2 years.

I don't remember the name....dang CRS

He also has 2 real tractors and likes this a lot better for lawn mowing, the the bruch hog behind a farm all does have it's uses!

Don't be too sure a tractor won't be running when you're not there. In
'98/'99 when I was rebuilding the GMC at my uncle's 49 acre "play farm", SHE
got bored and began to drive the Kubota tractor (probably bigger than you're
considering) with a 6' bush hog to cut the grass on the "recreation areas"
and the roads. Seemed to enjoy it, but made a comment to my uncle one
summer day that it was a hot, dusty job. Shortly thereafter he bought a
bigger Kubota with a 7' bush hog -- and air conditioned cab. :-)

We still use it and call it "Elaine's $31,000 lawn mower". He's gone now,
but the farm has grown to 250 acres so it's really handy to have.

That's the truth. Flat, they are the best. Hilly? Four wheel drive Kubota.
