Thanks Dennis. Not sure what I would do. I think just keep driving.

Randy,

I don' know if you will get this message -- you may be back on the road.

If you come through Memphis -- I can arrange for us to work on the coach at the mini storage, but it would be about 30 miles total out of your way. Or I can meet you along the route to do any work -- not sure of suitable locations.

Dennis

Margie and Randy - good luck to you!
Reattached the exhaust pipe to the muffler and seems to be holding this time.
'm beginning to wonder if that muffler is plugged. Somewhere going through
tlanta, it came loose and around the same time, the temperature gauge dropped
rom around 210 (it was hot outside) to just under 200. When I reattached the
ipes, temps are not running up around 205 most of the time. Unfortunately, I
orgot my IR temp probe so can't measure the temps of the mufflers to find out
f one is heating. Might explain the running hot issue. At this point, if it
s plugged, I'm not sure what I would do about it. Probably be OK if I don't
ush it. It runs easy at around 55 and temps are close to 200. Goes up to 210
n and hill of size.
We are currently about 2 hours South of Memphis. If anyone has a spare muffler
o donate it wouldn't take too long to change. I have one at home - didn't
hink to bring it along as a spare :).
I might stop and get a thermostat and try that on the off chance that is causing
his problem - it could be sticking partly open and occassionally opening all
he way.
