A few months back there was a LP Gas detector on Ebay, the item was listed
with no reserve, I was the only bidder and got it for 2.50 plus 8.50
shipping. When it arrived I was surprised, it is made in USA by CCI
controls, It was in a sealed package and it included a valve that goes
inline by the LP tank, included all wiring and parts, of course the
detector that is in the coach. On the face there is a green light that is on
when LP gas in on and a on & off switch that allows you to turn the propane
on from inside the coach. If LP gas is detected an alarm sounds and
automatically shuts off the LP at the Tank.

This is a CCI controls model 7719 PRE-Tell2, has anyone ever used this type
unit or heard anything about them? even my high dollar Diesel Pusher did not
turn off propane, lt just sounded the alarm.

My '90 Airstream LandYacht had such an automatic propane system. I don't
have any idea who the manufacturer was.

Man are you LUCKY! I just checked eBay and there's one listed for $149
WITHOUT the solenoid!

I was really surprised no one else put a bid in on it. It doesn't usually
happen that way. I just hope it's a good unit.
