My R12 system was getting a bit low so I tried topping off with Duracool, It's a bit better but not quite right. My question is obviously with a R12 Duracool mix the pressures will be higher than just Duracool (20 lbs low side), right now I'm about 28 but wonder if it would be better to just dump the system and recharge with 100% Duracool with the 20 lbs goal. If I did dump the R12 should I pull a vac or just release to zero and recharge with Duracool? Also what should the high side range be?
