This unit has been talked about before here.

It works well and is on sale today (deal ends very soon)

Great price if you want a better connection.

Great little gadget. It has performed flawlessly for me for quite some time
now. I get WiFi in locations where it would be impossible using the antenna
in the computer.

If you haven't seen the discussions of the Alfa WiFi adapter, believe me,
it's a Great device. I typically get 5X or more as many sites or signal
using it as I do with the internal antennas in my laptops. That's very
often the difference between no or marginal reception and excellent
reception in RV parks.

I've never chosen to take advantage of it, but since it's a USB connected
device, the receiver and attached antenna could be positioned outside of the
coach for much better reception.

If I didn't already have two, I'd certainly order one at that price.

Looks to be Windows only not Mac OS: "Using a USB connection, the Alfa WiFi Adaptor connects to any Windows OS and has an LED status light."

So, not for those of us from the Dark Side.

Based on recommendations here I bought 2 of these a year, or so, ago and love them. My older MacBook doesn't have wireless N so I just bought one of these.

It's amazing how many routers I see in my suburban neighborhood.

It works great on the Mac Powerbook

I don't remember if the Mac driver was on the included disk or if I
downloaded it from their Internet site.

Good news, thanks Emery. I guess they got too restrictive in their sales literature.

I don't suppose someone would buy this for me and pass along all costs and
both shippings...?
Seems Canada is a foreign country and they don't ship to a place like
this...<g>

In exchange for your time, efforts, and risk, I will return every cent I

I use a CradelPoint Mdel 500, I plug my Verizon air card into it and have
WIFI all over my home and most of my 5 Acres, when we hit the road I plug
the CradelPoint into a converter and have WIFI around my motor home. Since
my wife has a laptop also, we can be on line at the same time with no
problem and no slowdown that I can see. When our friend visit in their Motor
Homes or Trailers, they have free WIFI while they are here.

Works for us, I'm sure CradelPoint has a new vwersion out, I have had this
for a few years now.
