I finished up the air deflectors today. I had an old set of Plastic big truck mud flaps. In my case I had installed my rock guard in front of the crossmember and it worked out just about right. Now I gota put engine vents in the fenders to get all that new air I`m gonna git out. I also took the ac coil loose at the rad support (4 bolts) and slid it forward enough to squirt 4 cans of Coil Kleen thru the rad and ac coil. This started as an oil change.

What keeps the flaps from blowing in away from the grill??
at 60 MPH there is quite a lot of wind, seems like the flaps would be..wel Flapping in the breeze...
Seems like they should be attached to the grill somehow.

Keith: I also have a rock guard and screen inside the grill so I do have the option of adding wireties if needed. The hard plastic mudflaps are tough and hard to bend starting with a 12" wide piece. The way they are wedged in it takes a lot to push them away from the grill opening. The piece starts out straight from the grill to the ac grill bracket then the bolts and fender washers bow it right at 45*. I`ll know more when I get the engine vents and test drive. If it starts a flappin the grill I`ll tie it down some more. This is a test project. I am hoping for better AC also.

If you haven't bought the engine vents yet and you don't want stainless
steel ones West Marine sells plain white plastic ones for $8.00. I tried to
get you a link but for some reason the pictures are not coming up on their
website.
BTW how is the cooler mounted to the front of the radiator?

As for the extra tranny cooler, I had no choice, new sticky back hard foam surround and plastic washers and ties. It was to big to go under the ac coil and had to go between the rad and ac coil where it was before.
