Thanks for the comments, Ken. It may be that many owners will take the attitude that they can't/won't do anything about alignment anyway so such a kit might not get much use, but I still think it is an important thing to have available for those who can and will do something about it if they have the ability. There is so much chatter about add on gizmos and do-dads for "curing" rut wander, white knuckle driving, weaving all over the road and getting blown off by passing trucks it is strange to me that the most important thing of all - alignment - seems to be a forum chatter step child. When new these coaches had a reputation of being among the best driving of all the motor homes out there at the time and I have to believe that much of that can be attributed to knowledgeable chassis engineers designing for a purpose built unit. Alignment would have been first on their long list of must dos. Anyway, if it looks promising I will post more about a kit and see who is interest
ed.

On #4 I can't imagine why it is not a "cleaver design" since it sits out there on the "leading edge" (grin)! I will make the change, thanks for pointing this out. With all the downloads of that document this is the first time anyone spotted that. Good eyes even if they can't see light green type against a white background...... My wife had the same comment until she had her cataracts removed. Hmmmmm.

BTW, didn't you read about how sulfuric acid fume exposure leads to longer life for electronic components and solder joints? It must be true as I read it on the internet.....

Jerry,

Great web site! Well arranged, well written, with great photos.

Complaints:

1. I don't care much for light shades of print -- too hard on old eyes.

2. I'm jealous of all the great equipment. Makes my old Craftsmen stuff
look decrepit (like their owner).

3. I resent all those shots of immaculate shop space -- how some with real
work, chaos, & wood shavings everywhere?

4. Never did find an example of the output from the "rose machine"! (By
the way, re-read the first line of the write up -- I don't really think it's
a "cleaver design".)

If I ever get to take our long-delayed trip to the Northwest, I know one of
the "MUST" stops.

Oh yeah, I'm going to lay awake nights worrying about your expensive
converter, inverter, etc., sharing the same space with sulphuric acid fumes.

I like your alignment kit so far. But even with our great Bean Station
rally every year, our Dixielanders' tool kit doesn't get much member usage
-- I'm not sure adding an alignment kit will be of much benefit.

Ken H.
