Heading to Sequoia Natl Park from the CA Central Valley, I began to experience VL. Since I've already put in an electric pump w/ filter near the tanks, gas tank shields, insulated fuel hose between the carb and manual fuel pump location, I'm really getting frustrated. Since I was able to proceed at between 5 and 15 mph, even with the problem, I first suspected a clog in the fuel line.

At the entrance station the attendant stated, " I know how to stop VL, just remove your gas cap for 5 minutes and it will go away". I was quite skeptical, but, in my desperation, gave it a try and, lo and behold, it worked! So, not a clogged fuel line, but I still don't understand why I could move along at a slow speed w/o symptoms.
