Sure. I would guess that over 40% of the private airplanes are flown less than 5 hours per year. Plus the market for single engine airplanes is all but dead due to lack of access to financing and high fuel prices. Trades seem to be the best bet for folks to get the value out of their assets in lieu of cash.

That would be PERFECT! I just so happen to have an engine for an old taildragger. Not a P-51, mind you.

Not a P-51, but wouldn't that be cool. I was thinking more along the lines of a Cessna 170. Would be a nice little toy to have.

There is a C-140 sitting in my hanger for sale. It has 22 hours on a zero time engine. The owner is not interested in trading as he is currently in a nursing home, but the plane is available.
