Assuming we have solved the bulk of the problems with this coach, what's the consensus on getting it delivered?
I spoke to Marsha. She can't get the time off any time in the foreseeable future to fly out and drive back but she can cover the cost if someone else were willing.
She's in Maysville, MO, 1,253 miles from where the coach sits now.
All this is assuming I can get the coach rolling without another work party.

I live in South MO so not that far away from Marsha. My wife and I would be willing to come and get the coach. It would have to be sometime after this next week. I can bring a working master cylinder that I have as surplus as well as calipers & wheel cylinders that might be needed to insure the brakes are sound.
I was wondering if anyone got the AC working or if the dash A/C works (I could also bring some Duracool). If AC is not working, we may need to wait until there is a break in this terrible heat wave. Also, wondered if it had a 2" receiver hitch. That way, I could bring my towed and tow it back, otherwise, we would bring the car and both drive back.
BTW...I'm fairly experienced in most aspects of the MH.

I think "After next week" is overly optimistic. There's still a few issues to resolve.
No one has looked it the brakes at all, We just know the front reservoir leaked down and it has no brakes. I believe all the major components are in good shape but we don't know anything.
Meanwhile, today i attempted to start the coach and let it run for a while to see how the cooling system does, but i couldn't get it to stay running.
So there's a few problems to solve before someone can jump in and drive it.
Not sure when i'll have another chunk of time to tinker.

To add to the concerns, the coach needs some electrical attention. We did not explore the brakes, other than the dry front reservoir. Jim was able to pump it up after filling the MC. However, it was not tested under driving conditions.
The current situation on the fuel tanks is new fuel lines, but only 1 tank is on line. The other tank leaks and needs further attention. The leaking tank is not connected into the original fuel system, so should not cause any problems. Fill ups would have to take in consideration this reduced range (150 miles?).
The lights have not been tested yet. All the fabric covered interior needs to be trashed. This coach is not ready to be used as a coach, but could be driven.
The condition of the appliances has not been tested, so should not be considered as operational. They are physically present, but ????
While running the engine, the add-on gauges showed 45 pounds of oil pressure and 20 inches of vacuum while idling.
The anti-freeze and the engine oil need attention.
No idea on the transmission.
Jim and Bill were working hard as heck to accomplish the fuel and exhaust systems. Dave was a bit wet and greasy, just like any GMC mechanic. These guys are awesome. I helped too.

I was prepared to bring what is needed to get the brakes operational provided the brake lines (the hard lines) are not rusted through. Now the engine not running is problematic. However, if it has been running, then finding the issue should be fairly straight forward. Maybe some gunk in the fuel filter. I'm not concerned about the interior. Don't really need to use the house but would've been nice to not have to rely on motels. Lights should be tested sometime but, again, don't necessarily need to drive at night. Antifreeze and oil shouldn't be a problem - just some maintenance.
Obviously, one can run into additional problems with an unknown coach but that is just part of the risk.

I wasn't aware that it wouldn't stay running. Hopefully this is a minor problem. I wonder if it's not fuel delivery problem. Maybe that replacement fuel pump is bad?

Replace the filters. Take spares with you. Blow air backwards through the fuel line and the pick up tube to loosen any accumulated crap off of the pick up socks. If you do not have any additional filters in the line then install one in the line just before he mechanical fuel pump. I went though three pair of these getting that coach back here from Kalifornia. Each filter pair lasted longer that the ones before. Carquest 86316 works well there. Wix 33316 is the same filter. Wix 33048 fits the carb. Other manufacturers also make the carb filter.

I'm so excited! It's not the beginning of the end, it's the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. I can't wait to get it here! Thanks again for all your help and support. Don't know how this would have happened without it.
