I will bring a large squirrel fan; I think power is available. I also
sweat like a stuck pig in 80+ temps.........

Unless there is some wind on Saturday it's not going to be much fun in
Hertford. I don't like to appear a wimp, but it's cooler today than it
will be then, and at 10am a little yard work outside required a towel
headband to keep the sweat out of my eyes. You sure you want to do this?

Not much i can do about the heat but we can probably cool down marsha's coach - the roof air came on but did not spin, i'm thinking mud dobbers.

Failing that, i have a working roof air or two that could be dropped in.

The Revcon will be right nearby with the AC going and a fridge full of cold whatever.

And we have a pool, it ain't much but it does the job.

All that should make it more fun.

Dave,

It sure would be fun to be there even in the sweltering heat. I'm in San Francisco with my jacket on.

Jacking up the coach and blocking it ahead of time would be helpful for the muffler and fuel lines. It doesn't sound like any rear suspension work is anticipated - would it be okay to block the coach under the frame at the bogies?

But then, I'm just lurking on this one.

Dave,

Would it be fast to make ramps out of the RR ties? Like this from Gene's site:
<http://gmcmotorhome.info/rear.html#RAISING>

Then you would have ramps for your breadbox flatnose Revcon.

Dave,

That will be a big head start if it's sitting up on blocks. I emailed you about the jacks I could bring and sent two pdf pages from the owners manual about the standard GMC jack.

RR tie ramps would be heavy. As it is, building it out of 2 x 4 and 2 x
6 fir with as much air space as possible still makes for a heavy ramp.
Just did it this weekend and they haven't gotten any lighter. A lot
easier than jacking and blocking, though.

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=5006

I back the coach up onto the ramps and then jack the front up and slide
Rhino Ramps under the front tires.
Then I fill the airbags and block with a treated 6x6 on end under each
bogie.

When it comes time to get the coach back down is when it's easy. Just
take the 6x6 blocks out and drive it off the ramps. No jacking required.
