Does anyone know the negatives of towing a fwd Mazda 3, 4 down? It's a
standard tranny But it has an electric pump pushing the ps fluid . I don't
know if this means anything or not. The factory will not give a straight
answer .
Someone already asked about a Miata, but that's RWD and towable.
Opinions on the Mazda 3 please.....
Thanks

I towed the same set up using a Blue Ox baseplate. The only problem I ran into was battery drain towing long distance due to ingnition key position to allow for free steering wheel. There are ways to contend with that as long as you can still power your supplemental brake like the Roadmaster system I had. That said, I would not tow the 3 without a supplemental brake.
