Our son and his wife took our coach for a few days and stayed at Oceanside
Harbor. They had a ball, lots of folks came by and asked what was it, even
the Revcon owner a few slots down.

I'm thinking he will be looking for a coach soon.....they has a blast with
the coach.

It is good to hear of younger folks being interested in our coaches. I have been hearing of a few where the owner is younger than the coach. Smile

Good for the future of the GMC.

My 24 year old son wants to borrow mine. I have been putting him off, not because I don't trust him, but because I don't fully trust the coach. I just received the rear disc brake/reaction arm kit from Jim K. on Friday. When I get this mod done, the coach will be trustworthy, and my only excuse will be his dogs. They are a rather rambunctious lot, and Kathy and I are afraid they will do some damage to the interior, blinds, etc. If he leaves the dogs at home, I will let him borrow it. If I were a little more "well healed" I would be thinking of buying another coach for him and his older brother to use.

The people at Noccolula Falls can give you  my read on dogs - they all seemed to like my boy, and he them.  If you son has socialized and trained them properly, they'll do well in the coach.  If not, point out, he has some work to do.
Disclaimer:  I'm a little (lot) full of my dogs, and a bit of hair (lot) in the coach doesn't bother me at all.

We just got rid of a tenant who brought in a pit bull pup. In 2 weeks that
pup had peeeeeeed in just about every sq inch. Chewed the bottom of the
drapes and blinds,
chewed the base board and door trim is several spots. I had to tear out the
carpet and undercushion - to the dump and use special Pet deodorizer 4 times
and still the smell is not out. BEWARE - if untrained.

That's an owner problem, not a dog problem.  And you're right to toss them, they don't take care of their pets.  My point being, don't paint all pet owners with the same brush.  I've a 14 y/o Border Collioe, and I can tell you from her puppy days, BCs are the absolutely most destructive puppies ever whelped.  They >have< to be supervised and directed... but they take well to it.

My son and his GF have two rescued mutts that are somewhat rambunctious. It's not that they are not well trained or even not well behaved, it's more a case of them just being dogs, and all over the furniture with their claws, wet noses, and hair. I can foresee scratches in the vinyl and tears in the fabric, bent slats in the blinds, drippy nose prints all over the windows, and dog hair in every nook and cranny. I know...the hair and nose prints can be cleaned up, but the other damage is permanent, and I just don't want to put up with it.

We have a cat and she is bad enough in the house (she is scared to death of the coach, or anything outside of the house, for that matter, so doesn't travel with us) and my two sons' four dogs are frequent visitors to our home, so I know of which I speak.

Hey, not a Dog Perspn - nothing wrong with that.  We have them underfoot - along with their cats - at home and in the coach.  And it shows.  And, one goes the way one wishes.

Tell the cub to skip the menagerie or skip the coach.  Point him at Cruise American and he can rent a pet - friendly coach.
