Looking at the photo site with the links to thermostats I saw this really cool 3rd brake light.

I wish I had the imagination to come up with stuff like this.

Frank Jenkins sells a spare tire cover with the raised "GMC" logo
illuminated in red; it can be wired as a 3rd brake light -- even
neater.

Larry,

That's Bob Drewes' GMC; he's a clever fella ain't he!

Only thing that surprises me is that the light is red and not John Deere
Green. ;-)

Hmmm, guess that might confuse people.

Ken,

Great idea!

I have one Downunder and was going to wire it to the tail lights, however,
I'll now use dual filament bulbs and I can have it for both!

http://tinyurl.com/64wfp3k

Could I hook this up so that if I hit the RIGHT turn signal the G would
light then the M then the C then the right indicator?

If I hit the LEFT turn signal the opposite would occur?

Rob, just use the sequential flasher unit from a Mercury Cougar or
Thunderbird from about 1969 or 70. Should do the trick.

Jim,

Thanks! I'll post a separate message to the GMCnet to ask people to keep
their eyes out for one when they visit their local Men's Mall.
