Hi all,

A gorilla at a service station "fixed" a screw sticking out of one of my tires by mounting the rim wrong on his tire machine and gouging a divot all the way around the rim. So, I need a new rim. Do any of you have a spare or know where I might find one. All the usual suspects are out and apparently that rim has been discontinued by Alcoa. Thanks. Email me off line at glwork at mac dot com or call 541 dash 592 dash 5360.

Jerry et All,
It is really king of funny about finding and getting the Alcoa Classic
wheels. The stretch coach that I purchased in April had 7 Alcoa
wheels that fell within the recall dates. I was getting ready to put
new tires on the coach because the rears were dated 1997 and the
fronts were dated 2005. If I had checked the dates before I brought
it home I probably would have put new tires when I picked it up.
Anyway got home without losing a tire. Back to the rims, after
checking the dates I called the Help number and talked to a nice lady
named Sandy for replacement rims under recall and she said we can do
that! I had called on a Thursday and the next Wednesday the UPS brown
truck delivered 7 new classic Alcoa rims to my front door. They had
2010 manufacture dates on the boxes. Before you ask, the old rims
have been returned to Alcoa. Just an FYI! Somebody is using them.
