Gentlemen, what we have here is a spending issue, and I'm hoping the new guys swept into the house last fall stand steadfast and force the radical change needed on this budget. We don't need new taxes, hell we already pay taxes on the level of some EU countries. What we have is a spending problem! During the last administration I was frustrated that we were in some cases spending 350 billion in deficit spending, but its like the old saying "Baby you ain't seen nothing yet!" the current admin has ballooned the deficit from those paltry 300 billion levels to over 5 times that at a whopping 1.6 trillion! O-o and this economy is making it hard for me to make upgrades to my coach! Maybe I can lobby congress for some of that pork, tell'em its to convert my gas guzzling coach to run on cow farts, I think that's worth a billion or two right? Smile
