The average MPG (converted to US Gal to prevent whining) 9.9
Can you tell us about what speed you drove (you can do it in km; I can
convert) to achieve such good mpg??

As a rule with the GMC I don't really push over the speed limit, no more than 10% over when I do. I'm not in a hurry.. I'm on holidays.
I try to take advantage of speeding up going down a hill when I see I need to climb up the other side.
I have a tach-Vac and when climbing a hill I didn't let it go much below 10" to keep it out of power-enrichment. I try not to lug it, I let it slow up then changed to second at about 35mph to complete the hill. Anytime I looked at the EBL's display I didn't have the throttle anymore than 35% open.
I'm still running 3.07 FD.
The EBL goes into lean cruise when cruising and DFCO (Deceleration Fuel Cut-Off) when decelerating from highway speeds and when descending a hill.
I don't do jack-rabbit starts from a green light. Again, I'm on holidays!
I had one better and one worse tank, but listed the second best and worse... due to variations in the actual "Full level". I know I really filled it up once and once I got to the $100.00 pump limit and I didn't bother to restart it. The average is over the whole trip, started from a full tank till the last fill-up.
