The dates are August 10-13. Cutoff date for saving money on entry has been moved to the 15th of July, from the 6th.
There is a lot of stuff at these things that we dont have at our conventions and rallies. I know I will learn things that are for all motorhomers, not just GMC specific. Should anyone south of us want to run north we will leave Sunday or Monday before and park in the holding area til folks arrive so we can go in together. From our home it is about 500 miles up 57, 51, and then 39. Think we may jump off to avoid the toll road before we get there.
Anyway, if you have thought about it, come on. Just a fun time and we have no real obligations while there. Just look and attend seminars.
If you can not attend, I hope to have lots of pictures on the blog.

Dan,

I disagree!

I reckon you are obligated to spread the word of the GMC cult!

Make the owners of SOB's see the error of their way and join our ranks!

Rob, that goes unsaid. You should hear Teri talking up the GMC coach. I normally defer questions to my assistant and she is good at answering them. If we can get 3-4 of the GMCs parked together we will draw some interest. May have to have Byron park with the SOB group. Very Happy If they find out he "used to own one" they will be wanting to know why he jumped ship on us.
Anyway, we should have a good time there. Teri and I are not bringing the GMC home until after Goshen. Will run by Ken B's place then on to our daughter's in Logansport. If we need to come home we will run down in the Vibe and back.

Fellows,

I thought about making some kind of wise crack in response to your glowing
comments but I decided not to. Instead, I'll be nice and keep in mind the
concerns of GMCers when I speak to FMCA's leadership in Madison (which is
one of my reasons for going there). Yep, I do have an appointment confirmed.

BTW, there were more than 3-4 GMCs at Perry. I'd enjoy seeing 6-8 at
Madison.

Dan where are all you parking the coachs at the rally? Will we have to go in as a group to park together?

Larry, I have no clue where the rally is but I found the holding area and have Streets and Trips ready. I am assuming they will tell us where to go Wednesday. My understanding is we need to come in together. That is no problem if you meet me in the holding area Tuesday.
We are now taking that as you two are coming. We might be able to run back with you part of the way as we are going to Ken's or to our daughter's in Logansport.

Dan, Byron or anybody.
My main concern about going to the FMCA is Cheryl is now not walking very far (1 or 2 blocks at a time) will she be left out or can her electric scooter be taken on the shuttle. I don't picture taking it on the shuttle and the camp ground is a few miles away. We are wanting to go but not if she will be stranded.
Any thoughts by anyone?

Larry

I have been to several FMCA conventions and there will be a lot of people in
electric scooters. Not to be concerned.

Scooters on shuttles is an OK thing. However, not all shuttle wagons have
room but a greater percentage do.

I'm not sure about the campground being a few miles away. There's a site
that's remote. However, you can register for handicap parking at the same
price as the rest of us. You'd just park in a different location that would
be closer in and have appropriate shuttle service.
